EDITORIAL POLICY

Useful. Transparent. Accountable.

The Modern Health Journal · Launch edition · October 31, 2026

Start with the reader’s question

Coverage focuses on functionality, usability, routine fit, data handling, and documented limitations. Health benefit, diagnosis, treatment, and safety claims require suitable evidence and qualified review.

Labels mean something

  • Practical guide / decision checklist: a general process, without a claim of product testing.
  • Editorial review: reserved for actual evaluations with product versions, dates, tasks, and original evidence.
  • Documented feature comparison: research from published materials, clearly separated from observations.
  • Sponsored advertising content: paid work, with the payer named on the card and at the top of the article.

Commercial relationships stay visible

Free access, sponsorship, affiliate links, and related ownership must be disclosed where a reader encounters the content. Paid links are qualified as sponsored or nofollow. Sponsors may correct factual product errors; the publisher retains conclusions and disclosures. No sponsor can purchase an independent recommendation.

Related products

Coverage of products with a relevant ownership or commercial relationship must carry an article-level disclosure and use the same criteria as other tools.

Editorial review

Sources, prices, capabilities, claims, and conclusions must be verified before public editorial release. Draft articles remain visibly labeled while awaiting publisher review.

Sources, images, and corrections

Future product coverage must retain a claim ledger, dated primary sources, test notes, and image permissions. Our current guides are general workflow proposals based on the supplied launch brief, not research findings. Hero images and card artwork are editorial illustrations. No image represents a tested product.

Substantive corrections should be dated and explained on the affected article. Fast-changing product coverage should be reviewed at least quarterly. Send corrections through the inquiry form.
